A poppy flower that resembles the plumage of a black swan. This is a variety of the so-called Lanciniatum type with deeply incised, fringed petals. The semi-double to double flowers appear almost black but are actually very dark red. Easy to sow outdoors. It is best to sow several times and in different places to have this striking variety in your garden all summer. Height: 80-100 cm. Flowering period: July to September.
Poppies are a gem in the garden. As cut flowers they are also fantastic; cut them in bud when the colour is just visible. You will see them unfold completely…
