Deep crimson with lighter pink flares. Nightingale is named after the 7 English hospitals of that name, to thank the staff for their efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic. The flowers are powerfully fragrant!
The variety mentioned here belongs to the modern Lathyrus odoratus varieties and has for some time proven to possess all the characteristics that enthusiasts seek: healthy growth, abundant flowering (the more you pick, the more it flowers), long flower stems with many flowers (4-6). Where mentioned, the variety has an exceptionally good scent; otherwise, it is at least sufficiently fragrant and guaranteed to be true to colour.
