With enormous vigor (somewhat more tempered in a pot), the plant twines itself into any available support material. This could, for example, be a spent shrub or an ugly conifer... The leaves are pinnate, and the first bright red (with a slightly pink glow) trumpet flowers appear halfway through its growth, accompanying the plant until the end of October!
