A fast-growing climbing plant; in warm weather, you can almost see them grow... The funnel-shaped flowers ('morning glories') each have 5 petals that taper to a point. This mixture contains pink and violet colors, each with a playful white border.
Annual climbers have the great advantage of long flowering and flexible use. The Ipomoea assortment is steadily expanding into a "something for everyone" collection. Regarding the species name: I. purpurea is truly annual, I. tricolor has thicker leaves and can be overwintered as a container plant. They twine or crawl in pots or gardens, also beautiful as a hanging plant!
