Helianthus annuus 'On Black Seed' (Single)
- Product number: 524406
- Origin: North America
- Latin: Helianthus annuus
After several years of selection, this beautiful sunflower emerged from the "black hat." It blooms on sturdy stems at a height of approximately 2 meters. The flower has lovely large, golden-yellow ray florets (exactly as a sunflower should be) and remains proudly upright for quite a long time. As it ripens, the flower bows its head, revealing its enormous heart with pitch-black seeds (with a purple sheen in the sun). A diameter of 40 cm is not uncommon! In late summer and autumn, birds will feast on it in grateful flocks...
