The full plants with soft leaves grow to about 40-60 cm high. Pinching the plant at the beginning quickly produces a beautifully branched plant, which blooms profusely in summer with large, double trumpet-shaped flowers, light yellow and pleasantly fragrant!
It sometimes remains a guess to determine the correct genus and species names; here and there we put (literally) a question mark. Not all species can be overwintered; generally, the upright flowering species are called "Datura" and are annuals, and the species with hanging flowers are usually called "Brugmansia," which can be overwintered frost-free.
