Dahlia variabilis 'Fireworks Mixed'

  • Product number: 516100
  • Origin: Mexico, Central America
  • Latin: Dahlia variabilis

It sometimes takes a while... after 10 years of breeding, Thompson & Morgan introduced the first striped Dahlia from seed in 2007! Nice and compact, 40cm high, making them ideal for gardens or pots, the bright green-leaved plants produce a mix of bright and warm colours. Each single flower has tiger-like red stripes: playful and attractive! Some unstriped "misfires" do occur.

You can harvest the resulting tubers in autumn and overwinter them (frost-free).
