You'll imagine yourself in an old French monastery garden with this decoratively flowering thistle plant (with few or no thorns, by the way). The flower heads are adorned for weeks with azure blue to violet-pink ray florets. Its vase life is remarkable! Height 160 cm, flowers in the first year from August, with mild winters the plant survives and then flowers already in July. After flowering, we see the fantastic ripening, which birds and mice gratefully feast on.
