A cutting chrysanthemum from seed, fun to try: growers always use cuttings. The flowers are single and double in many warm mixed shades. Note: due to their considerable growth vigor, chrysanthemums are best "tamed" by planting them in horizontal netting, which is secured at the ends with stakes. As they grow, the netting is pushed upwards.
Marguerites grow easily and add a colorful and festive touch to both garden and vase. Before sowing, insert some pruned branches into the ground for support.
