Mini cabbages with long stems (60-90 cm), which make a decorative addition to an autumn or winter bouquet. They are very sturdy as cut flowers, but these cabbages on stems also look very attractive in the garden. Colour: a beautiful two-tone rosette with burgundy red in the centre and deep green along the edge. With a planting distance of 15x15 cm, you get beautiful, small cabbages; a wider spacing will result in larger "blooms".
Ornamental cabbage is best enjoyed in late summer to autumn (extending into winter), so don't sow too early. These beautifully coloured cabbages originated in Japan and make a colourful addition to our gardens or pots! Briefly boiled or stir-fried, they are a colourful addition to dishes. The mild flavour has long been appreciated in Asian cuisine! Cabbages with a small diameter, growing on long stems. Very popular as cut foliage. Plant them 15x15cm for small cabbages and further apart for a larger head. This amounts to 49-81 plants per m². Stem length 60-80cm. Harvestable after 4-5 months.
