Sweet wormwood

The seeds, yellow flowers, and fern-like leaves have a delightful, camphor-like scent... this alone makes the plant very attractive! A little of the dried plant in your pillow has a calming effect. But before we harvest, first the plant itself: it can grow up to 2 meters high and makes a beautiful annual screen for a changing garden. For centuries, its medicinal properties have been known in China: fever-reducing and antibacterial. The Artemisinin gene, found in this plant, appears to be very promising for malaria medication. There are also promising studies with positive results against cancer. We refer to external sources on the internet, use at your own risk. The leaves can also be used as a pungent bittering agent in salads.
