Sowing method: April-June outdoors. First, rake the soil finely, then scatter the seeds (possibly mixed with dry sand) evenly and lightly rake them in. Finally, press down with a board, hand, or roller. Pre-sowing and transplanting is also an option. The more space between plants, the more side branches and the taller the main stem. For cutting, it pays to sow or plant densely: this results in many handy inflorescences. All varieties turn bronze to brown when ripe (in autumn).
