A beautiful explosion of leaf colors! The plant first grows with reddish-brown leaves (with colored veins) up to a messy 50 cm high to "ignite" into a tuft of leaves at the top, changing from orange-red to copper-bronze to yellow. The flower spikes are modestly present.
Its uses are surprisingly versatile: the leaves are edible (salads or spinach) and last quite long in a vase, making them a beautiful addition to a bouquet. For the garden, it's an easy grower, filler, and eye-catcher!
