FROM JANUARY ONWARDS, THE BULBS WILL BE POTTED.
The beautiful grey cloverleaf is folded lengthwise. The light pink flowers (with white hearts) really pop. They love well-drained soil and grow wild in the Andes mountains (Patagonia and surrounding areas) of Chile and Argentina. They bloom profusely from May-August at a height of 10 cm.
The culinary world loves this plant: elegant and tasty is after all the ideal mix to give dishes an extra touch! Both the leaves and the delicate flowers have a slightly fresh-sour taste. The indigenous people of South America mainly ate the conical tubers of this Oxalis.
