An ancient cultivated crop that was brought from China to Europe in the Middle Ages. For centuries, it served as 'wheat' (groats), although it is not a cereal itself. It has fairly large, arrow-shaped leaves with clusters of white flowers at the top. When a field is in bloom, it attracts an enormous number of bees! You probably know the triangular seeds! This fast-growing crop is also suitable for poor soils; in any case, do not fertilize it. Sow May-June. 50 g per 5 m2.
