Thyme, True Winter 'German Winter'

  • Product number: 363005
  • Origin: Mediterranean region
  • Latin: Thymus vulgaris

ORGANICALLY GROWN SEEDS! Who doesn't know the wonderful scent of thyme...? A flavour enhancer (in small amounts) for almost all dishes, especially if they are heavy on the stomach, as thyme stimulates digestion. Give them a dry, sunny spot and regularly prune the sprigs with dark green leaves; the plant will then continuously rejuvenate itself. A harsh winter, combined with a wet spot, is disastrous.

Names:
Latin: Thymus vulgaris
Dutch: Tijm
Also known as: Echte Tijm
English: Thyme
