A dish in the oven... a few sprigs of Rosemary... the whole room fills with the delicious and distinctive scent! Rosemary belongs to the atmosphere of summer and the subtropics. Yet, the plant overwinters perfectly in a dry spot here! The blue blossoms are a graceful summer bonus.
The leaves and flowers (milder taste) can be used raw, cooked, or baked. Delicious with meat, in sauces, with peas, pods, and spinach, but also in sweet dishes: cookies or jams. The leaves dry easily and retain their flavor well. Tip: add a little tansy for a special effect! Of course, such a wonderfully fragrant plant is often used to make oil: in perfumes, shampoo, etc. You need 200 kg to make 1 kg of oil!
