A special plant, which in appearance somewhat resembles chamomile and daisy. The leaves are very fine and the white flowers with yellow hearts stick up perkily or (on much-trodden paths) form a fan around the plant. This medicinal, annual plant used to grow in the wild but is now extinct (due to intensive use in the 19th century). Through clever backcrossing, it can be cultivated again; our variety is almost identical to the historical one. At the end of the growing season, the dark brown root is harvested. The root is the key: its taste is particularly sharp, and a tincture is made from it for toothache, oral diseases, tongue paralysis, and as a rub to warm muscles. Rediscover this wonderful natural remedy! The plants only grow 20-30 cm tall under dry, poor conditions, but on rich soil with regular moisture, they can reach up to 2 m in height!
