This true (or wild) catnip owes its name to its attractive, aromatic scent, which also has a magnetic appeal for cats. Place the plants in a sunny, not too wet spot. The nettle-like leaves are white and felted on the underside. The graceful flowers bloom in clusters with labiate florets: white with purple spots. The leaves have medicinal properties that help with cramps, fever, and stomach and intestinal complaints. Very suitable for children!
