The round, blue flower clusters amaze every visitor to the Priona gardens each year! This native perennial plant is ideal for ornamental gardens due to its late blooming period (August-October). Give them a moist, lime-poor, and sunny spot; among other plants, the stem grows a bit taller (30-100cm). Late butterflies will also be very grateful! In the past, the leaves were eaten as spinach, but due to the cocktail of active substances, that is not advisable. However, it can be used as a medicinal herb: against coughs, constipation, and poisoning. A versatile recommendation!
