Chives, Chinese

  • Product number: 335000
  • Origin: East Asia
  • Latin: Allium tuberosum

Famous chives because of their light and pleasant garlic flavor. The long leaf is flat instead of the pipe-shaped leaf you are used to from common chives. Very popular in refined cuisine! The plants are very hardy and bloom profusely with white clusters (unlike common chives which bloom lilac). The flowers are gratefully and frequently visited by bees!

Names:
Latin: Allium tuberosum
