This perennial plant also grows wild in Western and Central Europe. They grow to about 1 m high (including the delicate, white umbels) and prefer moist clay soil. As a culinary herb, the tasty and aromatic leaves are used in soups, sauces, but also raw in salads (especially with tomatoes). As a medicinal herb, tea for colds is a well-known and soothing remedy.
