Delicious lemon aroma mixed with cloves... Great for tea, when you have a cold, but also in Asian dishes. The taste is milder than regular basil, which is why this variety is often eaten 'raw', for example, with the Thai-Chinese dish 'Kanom-Jin'.
Basil likes warmth and high humidity. The leaves are widely used in the preparation of soups, sauces, fish dishes, herbs, vinegar and pickles.
