A truly sweet Thai variety, combining good flavour with a beautiful appearance! The specific basil flavour is complemented by a clove aroma. Beautiful glossy leaves, with attractive veining and red stems. Growth is vigorous in warm conditions; this variety is only grown professionally in greenhouses in the Netherlands. After a few months, lilac-purple flowers appear all over the plant.
Basil likes warmth and high humidity. The leaves are widely used in the preparation of soups, sauces, fish dishes, herbs, vinegar, and pickles.
