This native, acid-loving plant yields two harvests a year (July and October) of red, aromatic, and slightly spicy berries. Very healthy for direct consumption or preserving! Give them a moist, sunny spot: mulch and mix in peat moss. The plants do not grow taller than 25 cm, produce underground runners, and are very winter-hardy. The first harvest should be done carefully to protect the subsequent bloom. 3 plants per m² is sufficient, with yields reaching up to 1 kg per m². After 8 years, prune vigorously; never use chemical fertilizers. Idea: place some lingonberries in pots on the patio!
