THIS VARIETY WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM OCTOBER 2024, KEEP AN EYE ON THE NEWSLETTER!
A successful cross between the grey (for connoisseurs "the only true") shallot and an elongated Jersey shallot. This shallot combines very good taste with easy peeling. The spherical bulbs have yellow-grey skin with a bronze blush. The good yield and excellent storability make Grisor a good compromise between convenience, quality and taste.
Shallots belong to the onion family and, like garlic, grow into a cluster of "cloves". The white interior is sometimes flecked with red and/or purple. They have a strong, rich flavour. Shallots cause fewer intestinal and respiratory problems than onions and garlic. Many recipes and facts can be found at www.shallot.com
