THESE BULBS WILL ARRIVE IN OCTOBER 2024.
All parts of this elegant, pink-flowering onion are edible: 1) the bulbs have a delicate garlic flavour, which comes into its own both raw and cooked, 2) the leaves can be finely chopped and added to salads, offering a fresh taste between spring onions and garlic, and 3) the flowers provide a finishing touch to a meal and also possess a lovely garlic flavour!
For lovers of soft hues, this soft pink ornamental onion is a "must"! Such a colour will truly leave you speechless, especially when combined with blue and white. Height 35 cm, the flower head is loosely formed but sturdy enough and appears in May-June. Plant a good patch (not expensive!) in combination with, for example, Camassia. Plant the bulbs relatively deep (5 cm) and give them a sunny, well-drained, moist location.
