This shade-loving, beautiful plant (though very rare) has naturalized in the Netherlands. Like wild garlic, this few-flowered leek is a true treat for onion and garlic lovers! It's smart to first plant a patch of these leeks. They grow easily, and soon you can harvest the leaves and flowers: both have a subtle and delicate onion flavor with a hint of garlic.
