The skin is pink to coppery, and inside, the onions are subtly light pink. Deliciously fresh and not too hot in flavor, Italians like to pickle them, but you can, of course, apply all the well-known preparations (including raw in salads) to this beautiful onion!

Sowing method: April-July. For onions, it's important that the soil is well-tilled, not too compact, and sufficiently moist. Make a furrow 2 cm deep, then sprinkle a layer of potting soil mixed with your own soil into it. Moisten thoroughly. Next, sow the seeds and cover the furrow with the same mixture. Moisten everything thoroughly again with a fine spray, and optionally place a strip of old cloth over it. A strip of extra sand is also sometimes used. Keep moist. After 2 weeks, the sand or cloth can be carefully removed.
