This versatile plant is a cousin of the well-known garden cress (common cress), but far less known, so for many it will be a fun discovery! Its serrated and bubbly leaves look elegant in a mixed salad. The taste: spicy and aromatic. It grows almost anywhere, including in pots. If you let this garden cress grow beyond the first cotyledon, the beautiful serration will develop. The young leaves are delicious in salads. When grown outdoors in summer, they will bloom and then form their graceful silver-green fruits on 40-50 cm long stems, very attractive to use in bouquets instead of ornamental grasses! For strong stem development, give them a little more space between plants.
