The most well-known "microgreen"; as a child, you already sow them on cotton wool! They can also be grown as sprouts (without light in a rinsing tray), then the sprouts remain white, just like alfalfa. The most common method of cultivation is on cotton wool, kitchen paper, or a thin layer of soil. Cut them young and mix them into a salad or put them on bread with a little sugar and lemon... Less known in the Netherlands is growing them as regular plants in the garden: you can cut fresh leaves from them all year round!
