The most well-known "microgreen", you sow them on cotton wool as a child! They can also be grown as sprouts (without light in a rinsing tray) then the sprouts remain white, just like alfalfa. The most common method is growing them on cotton wool, kitchen paper, or a thin layer of soil. Cut them when young and mix them into salads or put them on bread with a little sugar and lemon... Less known in the Netherlands is growing them as a regular plant in the garden: you can harvest the fresh leaves all year round!
