Sowing method: March-July. These fine seeds germinate with moisture and warmth. If necessary, mix the seeds with dry silver sand or talcum powder for better distribution. Sprinkle the seeds evenly on a seedbed of fine (sieved) soil. Press down and mist lightly. Optimal germination temperature 20̊ C. Cover the sown seeds with (fleece) cloth to prevent drying out. Place in a cooler spot after emergence. Some seeds germinate quickly, but there is a long germination period for stragglers.
