A nice, trouble-free crop, originally known in Mexican cuisine. Suitable for all kinds of stir-fries. Cultivation is easy: sow indoors early (March) and plant out in late May in a sheltered spot. The plants grow 1-1.5 m tall and like some support; the yield is about 30-40 fruits per plant. There is no risk of disease. Harvesting can be expected from September until the frost sets in. You should always grow at least a couple of these annual plants for pollination.
