This Polish variety grows rather compactly (about 60 cm high) and produces many bright yellow fruits, sometimes with a purple blush on the sun-exposed side. The taste is sweet and sour, with the sweet notes being dominant. A Tomatillo that you can eat both raw and in dishes.
A nice, problem-free crop, originally known in Mexican cuisine. Suitable for all kinds of stir-fry dishes. Cultivation is easy: sow indoors early (March) and plant out at the end of May in a sheltered spot. The plants grow to 1-1.5 m high and appreciate some support; the yield is about 30-40 fruits per plant. There is no risk of disease. Harvesting can be expected from September until the frost sets in. You should always grow at least two of these annual plants for pollination.
