White tomatoes have existed for at least 150 years, and we imported a Russian strain of this remarkably sweet variety. Growth is fairly compact, fruit weight 200-400g. Give the plant space and prune leaves here and there with a sharp knife.
If you frequently grow your tomatoes in the same spot, for example in a greenhouse, diseases can develop in the soil. Rootstocks are resistant to these diseases, making grafting advisable:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As a tool, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato gets its name from the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
