  • Latin: Lycopersicon lycopersicum, or also L. esculentum

Fantastic that something like this can grow! It looks like a tomato brain! Just a few amazed exclamations that will surely be yours too when cultivating this wonder. The plants grow to 1.5 m tall. After abundant flowering, the small fruits grow together like a giant raspberry. This tomato probably owes its name Voyage (travel) to a Native American custom in South America of taking them on journeys. The taste is the reward: a little sweet, a little sour and very aromatic.

Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil against which rootstocks are resistant, and therefore grafting is recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As a tool, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.

The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
