Our Italian grower is proud of this top performer: despite the need for support, this is a good candidate for outdoor cultivation. The fruits taste very good, are medium-sized (250-350 g), and have a long shelf life after harvesting. Of course, growing them in a greenhouse or under a tunnel makes them even more successful!
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
