Outwardly, it looks like a normal (but very beautiful) beefsteak tomato, slightly high-round, making them even look like bell peppers. If you cut them open, you’ll see the wonderfully fragrant (and tasty) flesh just under the skin. The rest of the space is hollow, so this variety begs to be deliciously filled with a meat, fish or vegetarian dish.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
