Large, multi-chambered beefsteak tomato with yellow and red-flamed fruits, a so-called Pineapple tomato (the flesh resembles that of a pineapple). This two-tone colour is visible all the way into the flesh: a beautiful effect for salads. Its complex, fruity aroma combined with a soft texture and thin skin is popular. Some fruits can reach 300 grams; the larger they get, the more irregular their shape can be.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same spot, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
