As far as we know, this is the earliest yellow tomato, which still offers some weight (150-200 g per fruit) and a remarkably good flavor. Within 2 months of transplanting, there is a good harvest from the self-topping bush plants. The fruits remain remarkably intact and do not burst. We owe this variety to the breeding work of Tim Peters of Peters Seed & Research.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same spot, for example in a greenhouse (or mini greenhouse)? Then diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
