This wonderful beefsteak tomato probably comes from Bulgaria and, when grown outdoors (under a canopy to prevent late blight), yields a large harvest of 500-900 gram, pink-red, very tasty fruits! Cultivation in a greenhouse is, of course, even more successful. Its resistance to various diseases is remarkable!
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato gets its name from the larger amount of pulp (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
