This final result is achieved by crossing the 'Great White' with the 'OSU Blue P20': a beautiful beefsteak tomato with light yellow transitioning to dark purple at the shoulder. The fruits are more or less flattened and can reach a weight of 500 g, though typically around 200 g. The pleasant taste can be described as juicy, buttery soft, and fruity. The fruits do not burst easily and have a long shelf life.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This name is due to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions like the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
