A historic variety from seed house Burpee. The name doesn't lie: this is a delicious, large beefsteak tomato! 500-1000 grams per fruit is standard if you put in a little effort... The fruits are quite resistant to splitting, which often happens with significant weather changes.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato gets its name from the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
