It's always nice to see seed companies that pay extra attention to flavor! This very fruitful beefsteak tomato (250g) grows very healthily, preferably in a greenhouse, but with support, outdoor cultivation is a good option. Burpee has further developed, improved, and made its existing 'Tomande' variety a bit heavier. And... as mentioned: very aromatic! Introduced in 2016.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
