Beautiful, dark beefsteak tomato, medium-sized and black-red in color during sunny summers. The harvest is relatively early, the taste aromatic, sweet with a hint of smoky. We sell 'Spudatula Black' under the same number, the only difference being the less finely cut leaf, so-called 'potato-leaf-tomato'.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse? Then soil-borne diseases can develop, against which rootstocks are resistant and therefore grafting is recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As a tool, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
