A Russian, beautifully ribbed, very dark red beefsteak tomato with a good flavour. The harvest is remarkably early, which somewhat reduces the chance of disease. Aisberg means iceberg in Russian, the reason for this name is unknown to me. The size is on average 150-350 grams.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same place, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
