This tomato once made its way to Bali (perhaps via the Netherlands) where it was cultivated for a long time and continually adapted to the taste and needs of the Balinese. This pink-red beefsteak tomato is graceful with its deep ribs, and the large, climbing plants are laden with fruit. The taste: sweet, spicy with a special scent and aroma!
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same spot, for example in a greenhouse? Then diseases can develop in the soil, to which rootstocks are resistant, and grafting is therefore recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As an aid, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
The largest tomatoes in our assortment are called beefsteak tomatoes. This tomato owes its name to the larger amount of flesh (instead of juice). This applies to most varieties in this group, with a few exceptions such as the so-called stuffing tomatoes.
