This beautiful beefsteak tomato has many fine ribs, hence the resemblance to an accordion... The weight of these orange (with red stripes) fruits is about 400-500g; large tomatoes with plenty of flesh and an excellent flavour. The plant has a moderate but climbing growth habit.
This group of tomatoes is medium-sized, somewhere between a cherry tomato and a beefsteak tomato. Each variety has its own unique character. The climbing varieties ripen somewhat later than the compact varieties and are therefore more successful under rain protection: a lean-to, greenhouse, or growing tunnel.
