A special tomato from Honduras with a loose shape, growing 150-200 cm, and narrow, elongated, red fruits (2x7 cm) with a funny nipple. The texture of the fruits (which weigh between 100-150 grams) is soft and not very juicy with a mild, sweet taste: a very popular tomato locally.
Do you often grow your tomatoes in the same spot, for example, in a greenhouse (or small greenhouse)? Then diseases can develop in the soil, which rootstocks are resistant to, and therefore grafting is recommended:
for grafting tomatoes, use this variety: 291110 Tomato 'Landon'. As a helpful tool, we recommend these grafting clips: 847520 Grafting clip 1.5 mm.
This group of tomatoes is intermediate in size between cherry tomatoes and beefsteak tomatoes: medium-sized, in other words. Each has its own unique character. Climbing varieties ripen somewhat later than compact varieties and are therefore more successful under rain protection: a lean-to, greenhouse, or grow tunnel.
